100 Ways To Make Extra Money

One of the key factors that lets me work because I want to and not because I have to was working on the side while working during the day at something else.

Making extra money will be a life changer for you. If you have some free time and drive, you can earn an extra $1,000-$2,000 per month. Extra money will help you:

  • Get out of debt faster
  • Stop living paycheck-to-paycheck
  • Become your own boss and get out of a job you hate
  • Spend more time with your friends and family
  • Take your dream vacation now rather than when you retire in 20 years
  • Retire sooner
  • Sleep better at night

Sounds great, right? It doesn’t matter if you have an hour extra each week or 40 extra hours. Here are proven and legitimate ways to make extra money in your spare time.

And you never know – your might enjoy it so much you’re part time job may someday become your full-time job.

    Start a side business

    1. Wash cars
It’s pretty low cost to start your own mobile detailing service. And it’s not hard to wash a car.

    2. Walk dogs
Lots of people have pets at home during the day while they work. Consider making yourself available to let Fido out for ten minutes to use the bathroom.

    3. Mow laws
I mowed lawns from the time I was twelve all the way through college graduation. It’s great exercise, and you can make great money.

    4. Personal shopper / stylist
If you’ve got style and know how to shop, you can coordinate others and help be their very own personal shopper.
    Stitch Fix
    Shop Your Way

    5. Bake cakes/cookies for events
Join community groups in your area and be on the lookout for opportunities to sell your baked goods. Farmers markets, neighborhood yard sales, and community events are a few places to sell homemade food.

    6. Get crafty and sell on Etsy
The Etsy marketplace is a great location to sell your custom pillows made of burlap, or the fancy picture frames you build.
    Etsy

    7. Jamberry
My wife is a big fan of Jamberry and her nails look great.  A lot of women are buying this product.
    Jamberry

    Thirty-One Gifts

    10. Beachbody

    14. Bridal make-up
If you have make-up skills, this will make a good Saturday morning job.

Same deal as the make-up. If you have mad hair skills, you only have to put in a couple hours on a Saturday.

Using outdoor settings will let you take photos without an expensive studio light set-up.

    17. Personal trainer
Get your personal trainer certification and give training sessions. It will be good exercise for you too. You don’t need a facility – you can organize sessions outside at a local park.

Parent consulting is a pretty new and growing business. You’ll be helping stressed out parents when they need it most.

    22. Plan and organize children’s birthday parties
Parents are spending more and more on birthday parties for kids. Party planning for a one-year-old is easier than dealing with a bridezilla.

Painting house numbers on curbs requires a couple cans of spray paint and some stencils. We get advertisements for this $25 service in our neighborhood once a year.
